About Quad Cities Sikh Temple
The Quad Cities Gurudwara, established in 2003, serves as a spiritual hub and gathering place for the Sikh community in the Quad Cities region. Rooted in the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Gurudwara embodies principles of equality, service, and devotion, welcoming all to join in prayer and reflection. The Gurudwara is currently undertaking a significant project to construct a new building. This expansion will provide essential space for weekly worship, Sikh ceremonies such as Anand Karaj (Sikh Weddings), and dedicated classrooms, libraries, and meeting rooms. These facilities are intended to support children in learning Gurumukhi and connecting with their Sikh heritage and Punjabi culture. The Gurudwara also offers community meals on Sundays. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, donations are tax-deductible and accepted in person, by mail, or online. The Gurudwara aims to keep Guru Nanak’s philosophy of ‘Vand Chakhna, Kirat Karna, Naam Japna’ (sharing with the needy, honest living, and remembering God) alive for future generations.
