Chaupehra Sahib is a registered charity and non-profit organization in Canada dedicated to helping the Sangat connect with the divine power of the Almighty. Founded in August 2023 with blessings from Baba Deep Singh Ji and Bhai Harpreet Singh Ji, the organization has grown significantly, now encompassing over 1000 members. The primary spiritual service offered is "Chaupehra Sahib," a prayer session held on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This practice involves reciting 5 Japji Sahib, 2 Chaupai Sahib, 1 Sukhmani Sahib, and 6 pauris of Anand Sahib, culminating in Ardas. The term 'Chaupehra' signifies protection, and the prayer is seen as a request for divine guidance and well-being. Beyond this core service, Chaupehra Sahib also provides Sukhmani Sahib Path for inner peace, Akhand Path to invoke blessings, and Shabaad Kirtan for spiritual essence. A fundamental aspect of their community role is the provision of free Langar (food) to all visitors, embodying Sikh principles of equality and community service. A unique feature is the "Ghar-Ghar Chaupehra Sahib" initiative, where these prayer sessions are conducted in selected homes upon request from the Sangat, bringing spiritual enrichment directly to the community. The organization is inspired by the bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering faith of Baba Deep Singh Ji, a revered Sikh warrior and saint.
