About SEPA Gurudwara, Pottstown
South Eastern Pennsylvania (SEPA) Sikh Gurudwara is a collaborative initiative of the Sikh community in and around the Pottstown area, with the vision to establish a permanent place of worship. While currently seeking a building, the Gurudwara offers regular Gurbani programs, including Rehras Sahib on Mondays and Thursdays, and Sunday services featuring Asa Dee War, Sangat Keertan, and Keertan. A significant aspect of their service is the daily Langar, providing community meals. The Gurudwara is dedicated to promoting Sikh traditions and teachings, evidenced by its plans to establish a Khalsa School for all ages, offering instruction in Sikhism and Punjabi culture. Community volunteers are the backbone of the Gurudwara, managing its operations, maintenance, and kitchen. Its core objectives include fostering devotion to the Gurus' teachings, maintaining the purity of Khalsa traditions, and promoting the study of Sikh thought through a library and organized discourses.
