Khalsa Darbar Vancouver is a Sikh place of worship dedicated to educating and providing a peaceful environment for all. Following Sikh ideals and ethics, its mission is rooted in the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, with a particular focus on reaching out to Sikh youth to impart and preserve Sikhi principles for future generations. The Gurdwara offers a range of services, including daily prayer programs with Kirtan and Katha, as well as educational programs for children. These classes cover Punjabi language, Gurbani/Gurmukhi, and Kirtan/Tabla, aiming to teach heritage and the mother tongue. Unique features include opportunities to learn Gatka, a Sikh martial art. Following the Sikh ideals and ethics, Khalsa Darbar strives to educate and provide a peaceful place of worship for all of humanity. The foundations of Sikh philosophy and the teachings of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee are at the forefront of our mission. We wish to reach out to the Sikh Youth in order to impart Sikhi ideals and for them to practice and pass on these ideals to future generations.
