Established in 1912, Gurdwara Sahib Khalsa Diwan Society is one of the oldest Sikh Community settlements in North America. The current modern structure dates back to 1969. The original temple was replaced with a new and larger one costing $200,000. The updated structure, atop 41 steps, offers a magnificent view of Victoria. The Khalsa Diwan Sikh Temple celebrated its 100th anniversary in May 2012.
