The Sikh Association of Fresno, established in 1986, is a vibrant center dedicated to preserving Sikh heritage and fostering community values. Its mission encompasses providing scholarships to support students' higher education aspirations and operating a Community Learning Center that offers educational, professional development, and wellness resources to empower individuals. History
Established in 1986, the Sikh Association of Fresno has been a beacon of Sikh heritage and values, fostering a strong and vibrant community. The Sikh Institute of Fresno, a 48,000-square-foot building on 11 acres on North Parkway Drive, replaced Gurdwara Singh Sahab on East Dakota Avenue in central Fresno in 2012. The Sikh Association is committed to carrying forward the principles of the Singh Sabha movement, dedicated to spreading the teachings of Gurbani, the Punjabi language, and Sikh history and traditions.

The Sikh Institute provides spiritual guidance for a better life and celebrates the special days in the Sikh history. It strives to provide inspiration and purpose to our children and families and tries to fulfill the growing needs of our elderly.
