Guru Tegh Bahadur Sikh Temple Inc., located at 1087 I-20 Frontage Road, Jackson, MS 39204, was founded in January 2015 as a religious non-profit organization. The Gurdwara serves as a common place of mankind, dedicated to promoting and practicing the religious teachings of the Sikh faith and conducting humanitarian works. Services offered include daily congregational prayers (Parkaash and Nitnem at 6:00 am, Rehras at 6:00 pm), with a special emphasis on the Guru ka Langar served daily. Every Saturday features a special school for children and adults to learn Kirtan and Paath from Granthi Singhs, alongside Punjabi language classes and a unique Pizza Langar. Sundays include Paath Sri Sukhmani Sahib at 9:00 am, followed by Kirtan and Katha from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. The Gurdwara aims to establish and maintain a Sikh place of worship, fostering a community where Sikhs can gather for religious functions. Everyone is welcomed at any time. Unique features include dedicated Punjabi language schooling and a Saturday Pizza Langar. The Gurdwara also actively supports its cause through donations for the new building.
