About Guru Nanak Sikh Heritage

Guru Nanak Sikh Heritage Inc., located at 29 Wyckoffs Mills Rd, Monroe Township, New Jersey, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering Sikh values and heritage. The Gurdwara Sahib celebrated its Grand Opening on November 8, 2018, following a groundbreaking ceremony in April 2018. The organization aims to build a Sikh Heritage Center that includes a Gurdwara, an education center (Khalsa School), a Senior Center, and a Recreation Center. The Gurdwara Sahib is open daily from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, with specific timings for Nitnem and Rehras Sahib. Weekly programs include Sunday Diwan from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. The Khalsa School offers instruction in Punjabi, Gurmukhi script, Sikh history, Gurbani, and Gurmat Sangeet, with classes scheduled on Sundays. The organization also organizes an Annual Khalsa Summer Camp. Guru Nanak Sikh Heritage Inc. emphasizes core Sikh principles such as equality of all humankind, honest work, sharing with others, selfless service (Sewa), and remembering God. The community, comprising a couple of hundred families, actively participates in Langar Seva, with a calendar available for members to book their service. Guru Nanak Sikh Heritage Inc is a non-profit organization. With God’s grace the community has took on the effort to build a Sikh heritage Center which will focus on worship and teaching of Sikh values & principles to the future generation.
