About Sikh Sabha of New Jersey

Sikh Sabha of New Jersey stands as a vibrant center for religious congregation and community engagement. Rooted in the core Sikh principles of Naam Japna (meditation on God), Kirat Karo (honest work), and Vand Chakko (sharing and selfless service), the Gurdwara aims to foster devotion and tradition. Its mission includes maintaining a space for religious gatherings, promoting Sikh thought through a dedicated library, and arranging discourses on Sikh history and traditions. The Gurdwara offers a range of services and programs, including a Khalsa School for children, regular Kirtan sessions, and communal meals through its Langar. Daily schedules include prayers like Rehraas Sahib, with specific Paaths and Kirtan events on Wednesdays and Fridays. Sundays feature Asa Ki Var and Gurbani Vichar sessions, culminating in Langar. Unique features include booking slots for Langar and opportunities for private event rentals. The Gurdwara also emphasizes community growth through various renovation and improvement projects, such as parking lot upgrades and library remodeling.
