About Gurudwara Singh Sabha PEI

Gurudwara Singh Sabha PEI, located at 231 Brackley Point Road, Charlottetown, is dedicated to serving the Sikh community in Prince Edward Island. Established in 2019 by the P.E.I. Sikh Association, the Gurudwara began in a house and has since grown, with a room converted into Sri Darbar Sahib in August 2022. Their mission is to establish PEI's first permanent Gurudwara, a central place for worship, learning Sikh teachings, and giving back to the wider community. The Gurudwara offers daily Nitnem timings, including Parkash & Nitnem in the early morning and Rehraas Sahib & Aarti in the evening. Weekly services on Sundays feature Sukhmani Sahib Path, Katha, Kirtan, and Ardaas, followed by Langar. They also host various Smagams (religious gatherings) throughout the year, celebrating significant Sikh festivals and historical events. Beyond religious services, Gurudwara Singh Sabha PEI plays a vital role in community empowerment, fostering harmony and cultural exchange. They are actively engaged in initiatives like blood donation drives, reflecting their commitment to selfless service for humanity. Their vision is to create a dedicated space that not only supports the growing Punjabi community but also showcases Sikh traditions to the broader public.
